Tannas Names Matuszewski to Leadership Role
MIDLAND, Michigan —Tannas Company, a member of the Savant Group, announces the appointment of Tim Matuszewski as Senior Director of Business Operations. The appointment supports the company’s continued commitment to operational excellence, precision instrumentation, and long-term growth in the global lubricant testing industry.
Matuszewski brings more than 30 years of manufacturing and operational leadership experience, with a strong background in production management, process improvement, and organizational performance. His experience spans and aerospace manufacturing, driveline technologies, and highly engineered industrial applications, where he has led operations focused on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining the Savant Group, Matuszewski served as general manager at Kalyani Mobility Drivelines in Standish, MI, overseeing daily operations and manufacturing performance. He previously held a long-standing operations leadership position with Mistequay Group based in Saginaw, MI, developing extensive expertise in manufacturing systems, cost management, and operational strategy. Most recently, he served as director of manufacturing operations for the Savant Group.
In his new role, Matuszewski will oversee Tannas Company’s business operations, focusing on operational efficiency, manufacturing excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and the continued delivery of high-quality laboratory instrumentation. His leadership will support the company’s commitment to innovation and customer needs while strengthening its position in the global lubricant testing market.
